I have been suffering episodic clusters since 1989. They have always occurred in a very predictable pattern with a 2 year remission. I was due for a bout of cluster in September, so my new doctor suggested trying Indocin to try to prevent them. I've been taking this stuff since August and have been trying to get off it since December (clusters would have stopped by late November), but I keep getting cluster "twinges."
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm beginning to think I might be better off to stop the Indocin, let the headaches(what a misnomer!) do their thing, and then go away for a couple of years. It seems that they just HAVE to come out. Does this make any sense?
