Since there are so many variations on the end of a cycle it is hard to know what to suggest.
If you just started a preventive like Verapamil it usually takes a few days to work.
Some people have abrupt ends to cycles. Some taper off with each attack becoming less severe and there may be less occurrences in a 24-hour period.It's always a good idea to check with your doctor about your dosage and whether you should continue medication after a cycle ends.
