Tom,
At age 36, immediately after giving birth to my second child, I started getting terrible headaches! I never had headaches in all of my life before this. It consisted of a fierce throbbing at the base of my skull & a throbbing in my right temple. The pain was so bad, I couldn't open my eyes, swallow, or stand up straight. They always came in the night around
3 or 4AM. The doctor gave me a narcotic (butalbital) formulated especially for headaches. It worked like a charm! After a year, they stopped. Then after 6 months, they started back. They weren't
quite as bad then. After 5 years of off & on
headaches, they finally stopped. That was 6 years ago. I keep some medicine just in case!

P.S. During my second pregnancy, PPS began to
kick in big-time. I'd never heard of it
before. It wasn't for another year that I
got PPS diagnosed.
