This may not work for everyone, but I've found that if I take two chewable Vita-Cal tablets (Shaklee Corporation product) just when I feel the early symptoms of an attack, followed by lying down for about 15 minutes, I can abourt 3 to 4 of every 5 cluster attacks that I get. Of course, Imitrex works every time in about 2-3 minutes for me if I wake up with a cluster headache at night. If the pain gets too intense, the calcium won't work for me.
