I have had four of these things since July 2. The last one last night was the worst of all. I was chewing ice to help numb the pain. Could'nt stand to sit or lie so I continued to pace for a full hour until it subsided. It is terrible for my kids to see dad in this much pain. They understand that I have a headache and that I can hardly tollerate it, but no more than that. The only thing I can imaguine it being like is to have a dentist drilling up into my temple. Can't exactly pinpoint the pain, because it is not on the surface. I can say that I'd rather have one of my fingers chopped off than to feel the pain of this again. I am afraid of the evening time for fear that it may happen again. I can feel it there, it's a dull pain now but know that within the next two days it will happen again.
Is there anyone who knows of a medication that can help? All of the crap that I have been getting is not helping and the Dr.'s don't know what to do next. Also, are there foods to stay away from? I have refrained from beer and wine, what's next?
