Ciao Mom, I think you are my (and all us too) mother.
My mom done the histerectomy at your same age (BTW now is 80) and she was a bit overweight also.... (I'm 240 lbs...then...)
I wish you an easy and rapid recovery from this operation, my mother called the operation "removing all what is not still useful".....
I know that is not a walk in the garden, but neither so bad (after 1 day you will take a walk ....perhaps not in the garden.
I don't know if you are italian too, but I give you a big hug and a lot of kisses on the cheek
