I havent been on the site for a while so I may have missed all this and it might be that you've already talked it to death. But today a niece handed me a clipping that talked about a new drug for CHs. It said: "Cluster headaches, which are more painful than migraines but also less common, are notoriouly difficult to treat, so researchers are pleased that a new drug appears to help about half the patients afflicted with the headaches." This is from the Institue of Neurology in London and they claim the drug zolmitriptan worked on 47 percent of sufferers. It's a pill, which I don't understand at all, but the article noted that "It's important because existing treatrments for cluster headaches must be give by injection."
Anybody know about this?
