There are some commonalities beteen hunger, bowel
movement and vascular tone. I have also noticed
the trigger being eating since I would often get
CH between 30 minutes and 45 minutes after ingesting
meals.
There is a compound produced by the body that
plays a role in both, vasculaure and GI fuction.
It is called cyclic-adenosine monophosphate, or
C-AMP. It results from the modification of adenosine.
C-AMP play an important role in vasodilation and vaso
constriction fucntion, as well as playing an important role
in peristalsis, the movement of matter through the
digestive system, including evacuation.
Here I go into the far reaches of a very long and skinny
branch of psuedo-scientific speculation....Has anyone measured
plasma levels of adenosine, or cellular levels of
C-AMP in the brain subsequent to eating a meal?
