A lot of your theories make sense. With regard to the hypothalmus, doesn't the hypothalmus have a connection with the glands that produce hormones? I believe that hormones also play a role in cluster h/a's as well. The bottom line is that while the malady of cluster h/a's is a complex one, it is not a "popular" one. Until someone of celebrity suffers from cluster h/a's, the answers will remain hidden in federal grants and research not given to cluster h/a's.
