Hello everyone. Im working on a new headache site and ran across this website in my search for cluster info. Excellent site. I will be sure to add a link on my cluster page to this page if it's ok. I suffer from Basilar Artery Migraines. Had migraines for twenty yrs and they decided to take a major turn for the worse in Nov 99 with some severe neurological symptoms. I went on a quest to find answers and ran into a magnesium researcher on the internet. Since that time we have become great friends and are working on spreading the news about magnesium. For the first time in 20yrs I have been migraine free from taking high doses of magnesium. We have helped about 20 people on our messageboard. They have also been cured of their migraines. Dr Mauskop a well known neurologist and magnesium researcher did a study of cluster headache sufferers and found greater than fifty percent had low serum magnesium levels. Their clusters were relieved with the use of magnesium. We have not had any cluster sufferers on our board yet so I dont know from personal experience if it works but I know it definitely has worked for migraineurs. Our site is not as nice as this one and made by an amateur (me LOL). We make no money off this and just want to help others. Hey its worth a try. Im an RN and have seen cluster patients in our ER and I know it is terrible. Dr Mansmann the doctor who is helping me is the director of The Magnesium Research Laboratory at Thomas Jefferson University. I am absolutely amazed at the success stories with the migraine sufferers that have started the magnesium supplements. If you do decide to try it let me know how it works. We are currently working on getting a research grant to study the effects of magnesium on various types of headaches. It has been researched before but mainly with IV magnesium and they had a 85% success rate. So come and visit us and if it is ok I want to add a link to this site on my cluster page. By the way Im not a magnesium sales person nor do I make any money off of the sales of magnesium. I just had such great success I wanted to share the info with all.
