Just got back from Doc's. Had to share this with you all. First I bet my husband how long I could go before I cried. I won!! I was real brave. He (the doc) upped my topamax. Yuck!! But I'll try it. We went through all the meds I've tried and this is really the best hope he thinks and it has helped some, so I will try it higher. Anything once or twice or more. Right? I explainded last night(that's where I lost it) I just can't go through another like it. I just can NOT!! He says He thinks maybe I am waiting to long to go to ER.That's because I keep thinking it's going to go away. So this is the good part, He wrote a note. He said He's not sure it will do any good but this is what it says "This Cluster patient is miserable with a current cluster- 10/10 level. If she shows up in ER any nite Please Treat her with Care and Concern-She is Not a Drug abuser. RX:Whatever? IV Dilaudid" then he signed it. Also "miserable", "current cluster", and "Drug abuser" are underlined. Like I said I'm not so good with computers and haven't figured out how to underline something yet. I know He didn't have all the answers but to find a Doc who will try things and is compationate. I am SOOO lucky. I hope the topamax smashes them. I feel ready to fight again between you guys and my doctor I am QUEEN of the world!! All kiding aside, you all have helped me today and I hope just to do the same for you some day. Paula
