I try to help people here. I am sorry that you feel that I am doing it the wrong way. I am not sure that I am. I, and LOTS of others, have offered the "hang in there" support to Carl. I think that sometimes the more sympathy we get the more it makes us inclined to sink further into our well of misery. I find that sometimes a sharper "hey, come ON...stand up!" works more wonders. It's helped me. So I want to help Carl, the same way.
I will go on supporting people on this board Cyndi. I feel that everyone here is my friend, including you and Carl. I will do whatever is necessary to save a friend. If that's telling them to hang in there, fine. If it's giving them a person to contact day or night to talk to, fine. But if it's also being there to say "stand up now!", that's fine too. I am not a fair-weather friend. I'm here for the long haul, and that'll include the unpopular stuff too.
But please, Cyndi, the one thing I ask you is NOT to call my faith into question or to ridicule my God. I believe that every person has a right to their opinions. It makes them no less a person if they do not share the same faith, beliefs, colour or interests as me. At the end of the day, we all bleed red blood if you cut us. We all have the same internal organs. We all need love and support. So please do NOT ridicule me for my beliefs and my faith.
