And I agree. I don't suffer from CH but I do suffer from clinical depression. There were many many MANY times I wanted to call it quits with working (and my life in my bad time) and did qualify for disability. I fought back and forth with myself about it and the fear of what would become of me if I didn't work. What would I do. Not much left to do but wallow in my *pain* and that's no good imo.
I think your outlook and feelings can be applied to just about any kind of condition. You are right there are people who can't work, people who suffer from many different things and for them I am happy they have that option.
