Hi all. I am new here so forgive me. I was quasi diagnosed with Chronic Paroxysmal Hemicrania (and prescribed indomethacin), but after reading around it seems more like CH. I fit into the category except for a few things:
1) I always feel numbness in my upper lip/cheek right before and during.
2) When the headache stops, it stops ***instantly***.
3) When I am not having an attack, I feel a slight tingling or numbness in my upper lip.
Finally, I see the term 'shadow' used everywhere in this board. Can someone describe it? Could that be the lingering of the numbness in the lip?
I really appreciate any help... I am living minute to minute anticipating the next attack.
