Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my earlier postings: I certainly didn't mean that I have ALL of the truth.
I only meant to correct the idea that drinking will 100% of the time for 100 % of the people, lead to attacks, or even episodes to kick in.
The other postings together may have given that impression, you see, and sadly that is not the truth. Not the whole truth.
Only if all the pieces of all our personal truths are put together, will there be a chance of geting to the bottom of ch.
So if, for me, taking a drink does not bring on an attack, and if for me unintended indulging has several times chased the demon away for a night (which means 4/5 two hourly attacks), that also should be said, however unpleasant this truth may be.
Having said that, I must confess that knowing all this,
I have never consciously sought this solution, in the midst of an episode, at the height of atacks. It just happend to me a few times. I never seek ik.
It is like that loaded gun or the high rise parapet.
I frown on that. I also frown on alcohol abuse.
I hope this has made my position a bit more clear.
