Hello All;
Someone posted here within the last week about doing squats and knee-bends until his legs burned, at the first sign of his cluster headache. Well, tonite I started to get my first near 1AM. It was getting fiery and I immediately "dropped" some Benadryl and nasal spray - - The lights in the bathroom were left on, and the kleenex was ready for the big nasal drainage/nose-blowing ordeal. I got a dry towel and started rubbing my splitting head vigorously, already to no avail. It was getting bad fast, very fast. The big one of the week was coming.
Then I remembered the post about knee-bends. I started immediately and pushed until my legs hurt. The pain in my head was noticably weaker almost immediately. Within 5 minutes, the cluster had vanished, and I stopped the exercise. My legs are tired, but no $%#@!! cluster! All week they have been 2-3 per night, 30-120 min each (Actually, for several weeks now). This one left in a few minutes!
Whoever posted about squats, THANKS! At my present state of fitness, I would not wish to do this 3 times tonite, but after an 8 week cycle the legs would probably be "killer!" Those of you who missed the original post, try squats . . . It may really help you also! Best Regards,
Ken
