For some years I have always had a full blown CH when working outdoors in summer temperatures. A few months ago a medical journal article appeared on MEDLINE (resources on left of page) which reported this pattern as not uncommon.
This summer I haven't had even shadows! It's a too early to declare success--but I've bene on vitamin B-2, 400mg/day, and magnesium, 500mg/day, for about one year. Both have been mentioned in the literature as possible preventives and, given how benign and low cost they are, I thought they were worth a trial. I'll declare victory in another year if CH stays away.
