sheesh, Karen, how dare a parent actually take responsibility for their children? What makes you think you are qualified to do such a thing? Don't you know that is what we have government for?
You must IMMEDIATELY stop monitoring your childrens' Internet, music, television and movie habits. Rather, when you think something MIGHT be amiss, you must form a Political Action Committee and demand that the government put a stop to this!
Start with Disney. That Bambi movie still has me having nightmares. Put childproof caps on soda, since it causes tooth decay. Mandate airbags that kill small people and children when they deploy. (Sorry, that one's already taken)
Did you know that eating 26,542 tubes of fluoride toothpaste can cause medical problems??? This clearly requires safety locks on all medicine cabinets right away.
Heck, you've probably taught Jessica and Stephen to say "Yes, sir" and "No, ma'am" to their elders, which will clearly scar them with a life-long insecurity complex, thereby destroying any chance they have to mature into adulthood and assume positions of responsibility.
But then, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
[P.S. Just my way of commending you for taking care of your children the way any parent should. So I slipped a little personal political statement in there - sue me. :-)
