Regarding your question about the safety of taking
Amerge daily--it's unknown. I actually called the
drug company with this same question. Apparently,
during the clinical trials, migraine sufferers
were given the drug only a few times per month. So,
the Amerge regimen is left up to the doctor. I
believe GlaxoWellcom (sp?) neatly avoids any legal
problems while raking in the money. They know
cluster sufferers will be taking the product if
it provides relief, but they don't specifically
recommend Amerge for cluster.
