Reading through posts early this week, I discovered it was Headache Awareness Week so printed off the OUCH Newsletter (OUTSTANDING BTW), made a few copies, and put them on the staff table where I work. I live and work in a rural area, there are a total of 14 employees where I work. We know each other pretty well. Everyone knows I get 'headaches', a couple people know something about clusters. Anyway, I don't know what I expected but it wasn't until today that I got 3 comments. Two were along the lines of...."It's was a great week for Headache Awareness, I've had a headache for 2 days." The other was from a co-worker who had had a bothersome one sided headache earlier in the week who had actually read the whole newsletter. So, what DID I expect and why am I not surprised?? I'm not sure, but I walked out the door at the end of the day feeling a little disappointed.
