And this sequence is relatively well know from a lot of time.
I think that if we wait a gene switch off for CH, we will be much old when they have it. The CH is not a known illness, imagine if the gene location is known!
So sorry to say this, but I have not a lot of faith in this human genoma mapping in curing illnesses. And I'm also not sure that the % of code written is the truth. I think that's a big commercial operation and fight between pharmaceutical/research companies.
Not only this, but a lay out of the human genoma is not the solution, is like an X-ray picture: show you where the "bad thing" is located, don't cure it.
