Flo, Hang in there. There is something that CAN help him get some relief if for only a while (a day can be a lifetime). DHE45, will usually give relief for a while. It's best to get it IV, but can be injected. That's the fasted way to break THIS cluster. It will return (probably), but it will give him some relief RIGHT NOW! I went non-stop for months until I finally got to a hospital and a neuro who got it stopped for a while.
Talk to your dr. about getting him relief NOW and worry about preventative after that. Good luck. Barbara D
