I have had migraines and ch since I was 5 years old. I have also picked up in the last 5 years or so these kip - level (2 to 4) headaches which are triggered by bending over to tie my shoes, picking up one of my children, making love to my wife, etc.. These things are instant triggers to things of which I'd rather not speak. Everyday, awake or asleep is constant headache. Never a question of if, but how bad.
I went to the a new doctor today to get more meds and when I checked in the nurse asked me why I was there. I told her it was for migraines. She looked at me and smiled and said... "Too much stress Mr. Vaughn?"...
I smiled...on the outside...
inside I found myself [again] facing the probability that these people were going to tell me to relax, and take some motrin. Fortunately [Thank You GOD!], so happens I used to see this doc and he was thrilled to hear that I had made some great progress since last seeing him and basically wrote my meds, then checked me out for some other health issues [there are always 0, none, not a damn thing wrong with you son...]. Anyway, well, I guess it still doesn't change anything. Just makes it not as bad. No less hopeless. Just less painful.
... well, I've just been sitting here for a while now, so I guess that's all I have to say...
Remember, in the deepest darkest corner of the night... you are not alone...
