I think your doctor must have a screw loose to say something like that. Cluster headaches are the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.
The first two weeks I kept a positive attitude ... told myself I can handle the pain ... reminded myself that I would get through it.
The second two weeks with recurrences during the day basically dropped me to my knees and made me cry like I've never cried before ...
Now, to have someone suggest death as a way out ... that's just uncalled for, inappropriate, and completely insensitive.
The good news is that you will get through them ... you can find relief with a good doctor while you have them ... and there are other people out there who are going through the same thing as you who are going to see a light at the end of the tunnel just as you will ... and when I say 'light at the end of the tunnel' ... I don't mean death, I mean relief! :)
