The propranolol (inderal) your doc prescribed is a beta blocker. Besides it's standard use (heart disease) it is quite useful for migraine patients. However, in the last 52800 post on this board there was, as far as I remember, only one (and rather doubtful) 'cure' reported for CH. But quite a few reported, like you, no success with beta blockers. But many here use another 'heart medication' class for prevention: the calcium cannel blockers, the one most widely used is Verapamil. The trick is to use a rather high dose, 240 mg/day or more. Talk to your doc about Verapamil.
