i have the injectables. when i get a bad cluster, i shoot myself in the arm and wait like a minute or two, and then i get a really tight feeling in the back of my neck like someone is grabbing the scruff of my neck like you would a cat or something. and my fingers tingle likte you sat on your hand for a while. i get a little woozy and tired, and i have to hold my head up, but then the pain just literally fades away. i tried the nasal imitrex, but i hate the taste of it as it drains down the back of my throat. (it's the same shitty taste you get when you snort coke cut with too much ether.) and the nasal imitrex took too long to work. forget the pills. they're for migraine people who don't have the urge to end it all when they get a headache and can afford to wait for relief. i swear by the injectables, but the price sucks.
