I could have written your post, word for word, last
week. There were times I was so exhausted that I
just thought, "let the headache get me, I can't
even sit up to get the oxygen." I have a full-time
job that is very detail oriented. I would come
in to work so exhausted that I was almost
hallucinating.
The only thing I've found to help me is good
preventive medication, like Verapamil (at 120,
240, or 350 mg) or Prednisone. These meds may
not literally prevent all attacks, but they reduce
the frequency and severity. Especially reduction
of frequency has allowed me to get enough sleep.
I'm praying that the Verapamil continues to work.
There are other preventive meds, too. Have you
tried any of them?
