I too, discovered this board over a year ago, and have found many valuable strategies which have helped me understand my cluster headaches better. I have sorted though the many posts, and have felt a kinship with many. I've even found some solutions which have helped me deal with the pain, i.e. caffeine, relaxation techniques, etc.
I have also offered my humble opinions a few times, and gotten few responses. But that's OK with me, because my ego has very little to do with why I have visited this board consistently for the last 18 months.
However, as I'm sure you're aware, that's JUST not the case with many who come here. It kinda reminds me of *Road Rage* in a way, or "nobody's gonna tell me what/how to act, and I'll just take my toys and go home...."
While we all have opinions, it would be nice to see adult men and women act like grown-ups, instead of dissing each other like middle-school kids. I would be very disturbed if I saw my children, who are young adults, act this way with their peers.
Ueli, IMHO, you have always been very kind, informative and respectful of others, and need I remind you, that unfortunately, not everyone operates on that premise, and therein lies the problem.
Sorry if I sound like I'm pontificating, but I think that this had to be said for all on the board to see.
You have my best wishes
Chana
