Please accept my apologies for not stepping to your defense. I can only plead a hectic life at the moment.
I thought Tinker was totally out of line and completely mis-read your attempt to offer valuable information. By the time I saw that thread, you had been defended by others, and I didn't see the point in adding fuel to the fire.
If you must leave, I beseach you to consider visiting Elaine's site and contributing your wealth of technical and scientific knowledge to the Cluster Academia board. It is a monitored board of which I am the Moderator. It is, and shall forever remain, a place for serious discussion. Inappropriate posts will be politely directed to other boards and then removed.
You have far too much to offer the world of clusterheads to disappear for good. You are the only CH I've heard of for whom alcohol is not a trigger in cycle. This singular exception to the norm is most likely one of the most critical pieces of research we could 'stumble' upon, if only we can figure out what it means.
I cannot offer you a truckload of kisses, nor can I even attempt to speak your first language, but I can implore you to continue your involvement, even if you need to change the venue.
But if you feel your decision needs to be permanent, rest assured I will respect your choice and that my email is always open to you.
