Hmm. As an experimenter I wonder, how about an extreme version of this:
Get some saline drip, nothing in it, just water...
One might want to add into the experiment a catheter, or perhaps a kidney shunt so the the kidneys are bypassed altogether.
Start washing out the blood. repeat until the blood is nice and clean.
Or this version:
Hook up to a dialysis machine, you know the kind that makes up for not having a kidney? and Clean out that blood!!!
Or this version:
Just drink the water, but up it to some safe but ridiculous limit. Dont do anything else, or at least dont plan on doing anything else. Put the water in ethier large gallon milk jugs or perhaps those liter squeeze bottles...drink drink drink drink drink drink
