But that was SOOOO cool! I NEVER think of things like that to say. I tend to go back a few hours later and say "say that stupid remark again. You know, the one you made earlier - coz I have this great comeback now"! I am so dumb, it hurts me!
My analogy for the pain, (this is what I told my Mum recently, after she told me she didnt want to think of me having a limb amputated without anesthesia) is "it's like someone you can't see shoving a crochet hook through your eye, and then trying to hook your brain out through the bloody hole that's left........and you're fully conscious".
She seems to be labouring under the attitude that I should ditch my business (I work from home), get rid of my dogs (they can drive me nuts), and not go out (become a hermit) and that way the HA should stop! She's absolutely convinced that I have CH coz I'm stressed!!! I don't honestly think she GETS it!! LOL
Still, she's my Mum and I love her and she has a lot to deal with herself right now.
