Thank you for your inquiry.
Glaxo Wellcome understands the crisis facing the under-insured and uninsured population and shares your concerns. Because we do not wish to deny access to our products based upon an individual's inability to pay, we have created a Patient Assistance Program to provide medicines for eligible patients who do not have or qualify for other private insurance or government-funded programs.
In addition to providing medicines, the Glaxo Wellcome Patient Assistance Program provides patients and their advocates information and guidance in finding alternative sources of reimbursement. Your physician or other healthcare provider may contact our Patient Assistance Program on your behalf by calling 1-800-722-9294. Although designed to be accessed by any healthcare professional, a signature of authorization by your physician is required before drugs may be made available to you.
We appreciate the time you have taken to write and thank you for your inquiry to Glaxo Wellcome. We appreciate you sharing your concerns with us and the opportunity to address your questions. If you should have further questions concerning our company or our products, please feel free to contact our Customer Response Center at 1-888-825-5249 during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.
