Leslie, I didn't notice your name on this board until yesterday. Was just wondering if you were new to the site. I don't know if your new because I'm fairly new myself. Been visiting the site for the past two weeks. Definately not new to CH. Been fighting the battle for 30 years. Lucily mine are episodic so I know they will end in a few months and I can start living a normal life for a year or two, until they come back. Worst two words in the english language "they're back", two best words "they're gone". I was wondering what you situation was. Are they cronic or episodic? How long ya had em. Ever felt a worse pain (not)? How many a day, etc. If you go back through the message board you'll find a lot of possible medications that you can talk to your Dr. about trying. I think that's the real key, keep trying until you find the right thing. I'm handling mine pretty well with daily Verapimil doses, cafergot & lidocaine nasal spray when one hits and something new I started last week, doing squats/deep knee bends until my legs burn and I can't do any more. The HA's don't get above a 3 or 4 and are usually gone in 2 to 5 min. Sounds strange, I know, but whatever works. Hang in there. I truly pray you get some relief. A fellow head banger, Bob.
