Yes, I think it is a common feature, but the way I read the information it always goes: pain through eye, tears flow, nose gets stuffed.
In my experience (and now yours) it goes: pain through eye, nasal passage cramped shut, and then, much later, the mucus layer swells because of the liquid from the eye.
The manure side is completely new to me. Do you have an extra strong sense of smell? I have, that is, for anything that is decaying and especially sidewalk shit. It quite spoils my summer days, but I never noticed it giving me CH. I usually have my attaks at night anyway.
Interesting that you try to cook up a sneeze. Did you know that ammonia (one of the strong smells in manure) was used to revive fainted Victorian ladies who, if the reports are to be believed, came to with a sneeze...
So maybe your manure is trigger and remedy at the same time?
