I have been a sufferer for the last 10 years, and after finally gettting a proper diagnoses (some 8 yrs ago)I have been seeing a nuerologist.
My question is regarding everyones diet.
My nuero, is suggesting that I avoid the foods that are known to affect people with the common Migraine. She has been after me to cut out caffiene in my daily diet. I generally drink 4-6 8oz cups of coffee a day. I have recently switched to coffee with 50% decaf, 50%reg. and after 3 weeks with a reduced caffiene intake my CH have been unusually prominent.
I am wondering what food others have been told to avoid, or if they adjusted their diet at all. The decrease in caffiene has been the only major change in my life recently and I am starting to believe that this was not necessary, and may be the cause of this severe cycle, Please let me know what you have changed in your diet or if you have changed at all.
I do like my nuero, but I don't know if suggesting common migraine solutions is in my best interest.
