BTW, I also feel sick sometimes too, when the pain gets VERY bad. I think I just lose control, the nausea is terrible. I havent actually thrown up yet, but Ive come pretty close on at least 2 occasions.
We're all here to help. DJ meant well, there have been a couple of people who've found their CH is masking another underlying condition. So he worries about any newbies that might be misreading their symptoms. He's really a nice guy. Honest!! (LOL)
We must seem a bunch of fruitcakes to you, but honestly we don't bite and our barks aren't too bad either! Our "joking" and "teasing" can seem a bit weird to the newcomer (Lord knows it did to me when I was a newbie!), but on the whole this is the best bunch of friends Ive EVER had....whether here in my town, or anywhere else for that matter. Just coz I cant see them, doesnt mean their not real to me. We all stick together no matter what. There are a couple who will defend you to the death....JOnny's one that springs to mind, Riccardo's another (both he and Riccardo are real sweeties. Though Jonny's going to kill me for saying that!). Riccardo hasn't got a bad bone in his body. Margi and Elaine are the one's that stop us from doing "the deed" (Hey, they dont call this the 'suicide headache' for nothing), Margi helped me in that quarter just last week. August, is.....well, August! Funny and sweet, though she (like Jonny) will kill me for saying so!! CarlD is the one amongst us that puts our worst fears and feeling into words. He articulates our deepest dread, our anger and frustrations at both CH and the world in general.
So I could go on, but you don't want to be up all night reading! Hey, this is just my take on our motley crew, so don't quote me!! (LOL)
As for me? Well, Im......just me. Not as special as the rest of them, but hey I hang with perfection so that's good enough for me!
