funny about great minds, same channels, etc.
I've reflected to myself before it seems there are many musicians in this group.
Some of them are paid preformers!
Now, I was never that! I did the usual highschool chorus, band, piano & vocal lessons & church choir thing, but didn't do much else till my early 40's. I purchased a spinet piano and a tenor saxaphone (my highschool instruments) and for the next decade I was part of the orchestra in a rather large non-denominational church here in Fort Smith. I considered it a form of ministry, rather than thinking of myself as a preformer, however, I loved doing it! When I developed clusters, and was mis-diagnosed as needing tons of dental work..it messed me up on the saxaphone...so it's residing in the closet.
Moved to smaller house & sold piano, but am still plotting some kind of electronic keyboard. I play for my own enjoyment, cause I don't play well enough for anyone else to enjoy! hehe.
Another sidelight, when I started back on the tenor sax, my oldest son was in his 3rd year of college...he had no idea Mom was a sax player.
