This guy's driving around town talking to himself about the meaning of life while his 2 year old sits in the back seat wondering why they just can't play.
When my kids were that age I didn't talk about playing with them --I actually played with them!
This is not a page out of Kurt Vonnegut - it is more like a Fellini movie. The guy drives around aimlessly through this decaying metropolis full of people expiring on the sidewalk, run down Baptist Churches, signs that are unreadable and obscene bumper stickers that our main character actually reads and contemplates.
It is all very, very sad - so sad that we may have to make a movie out of it - who should we cast as the main character? - I think we need an angst ridden, ne'er do well, full of self absorption and self pity - hmmmmmmmmmmm?
