The sad thing is that there's almost no testing of cluster drugs at all. What we get are hand-me-downs from migraineurs. In fact even many of the migraine drugs aren't tested very thoroughly. Doctors prescribe them for something else, then accidentally discover they work for cluster or migraine.
It's hell to have a rare disorder like cluster headache.
