My CH started at 43, almost 10 years before menopause.
I was always a little more hairy than the average, but that seems to run in my family.
I was also the hard-driving type-A personality, another family trait. And lastly my voice is lower also in old age, but I attribute that to smoking too many cigarettes for too many years. (Another trait shared by my mother and my aunt.)
Actually, I think the doctors are reaching a little here.
There may be something in what they suggest, but I'll bet there are just as many cases where opposite statistics apply. Really, I don't think 26 people are enough to base any conclusions on.
That is the reason I made up my 95-question survey. Someday I plan to use it some way. Not now to interefer with the others that are in progress, but later as a personal project - just to satisfy my own curiosity, if nothing else. I will add about 10 more questions relating to possile hormonal differences. Thanks for giving me the idea.
