It has been about three years since I was told I had cluster headaches. The beast went away for a couple of years, I had hoped my verapamil and imitrix had halted the cluster assault. Then about a month ago, the cycle started up again. The cyle is spaced about two days apart, which is different from when I first had a cycle. The problem is during the attack day, I will have 8-12 attacks during that day and night. Each attack lasts from 30min to 1 hour. I have used more imitrex in last month then ever before. (I can only use 2 20mg inhaleer a day. I am worried that it is losing it's effectiveness. I am being treated by the veterans hospital due to the fact that I am a poor student/national guardsman. My next appointment is not until next month. If I try to reschedule an apointment it is worse then pulling teeth. I was wondering is there any over the counter medicine or alternitive treatment that anyone is using that might help? Thanks in advance...Felix
