Dear All,
Saw this conference via the Institute of Neurology website in London (where Dr. Goadsby works).
If someone else has spotted it and reported on it - apologies for the repeat.
Sent a message to the Secretariat - copied here - thought we might have some luck.
Dear Ms. Henley and Ms. Farmer,
Please excuse me writing to you, but I was most interested in the conference that I came across in a link from the Institute of Neurology website.
I am a cluster headache sufferer, one of Peter Goadsby's patients in fact, and am an active member of two websites relating to the condition. One (clusterheadaches.com) is linked on the IoN site, the second is a new charity (in UK terminology) - OUCH - the Organisation for the Understanding of Cluster Headaches.
Between the two there are several thousand sufferers who are always keen to learn of new developments, and to help in any way possible. Most are in the US, but several hundred are in the UK and Continental Europe.
We would very much appreciate being kept informed of any areas of the conference dealing with clusters, (or its sister condition Chronic Paroxysmal Hemicrania of which we also have many victims), either before, or in terms of transcripts afterwards. If there is any way in which we could help you in return we would be more than happy.
If you wish to reply, I would be most grateful if you could do so to me, or to Dave Greenly, the President-Elect of OUCH.
I attach links to our two sites:
clusterheadaches.com
OUCH
Yours sincerely,
Simon Bower
I'll keep you informed.
Simon
