Arch, the creator of this site is also military. You two guys need to start a dialogue about this discharge thing, unless of course it's what you want.
Systems INSTRUCTOR? What's their problem? You get attacked during a class and have to re-schedule? I'm not knocking the military, but I do know that it often gets exemptions or 'special consideration' with regard to things like ADA, and this sounds bogus to me. An F-16 pilot I can maybe understand (clusterhead + gazillion MPH plane + heavy duty artillery = American kamikazi), but don't try to tell me they can't use your talents. Ok, so you may not be 'deployable'. You'll never get that battlefield commission. If you're cool with that, they should be.
Again, NO knock on the military. (Wasn't y'alls fault the politicians wouldn't let you go get Sudden Insane) I just get incensed every time I hear of a clusterhead getting 'mustered out' of a career. ADA says 'reasonable accomodations'. If an asthmatic can force a company to ban smoking EVERYwhere on it's property, the AF should be able to make reasonable accomodations for clusters.
Crank that verap up to 480 and you may just find the attacks drop to a couple per week.
Ok, I step down from the soap box (for a few minutes at least).
KTSSU,
