Hi gang Kevin here just wanted to drop a few lines and say that I too am new to this site and am very greatful to have found it. For four yrs now I also thought I was the only one suffering from this disorder. I'm 37 years old and so far I guess I'm considered an episodic sufferer. My cycles seem to start in the spring and run for several weeks and then comes the relief for a few months, the way I have it figured I suffer about half the year on and off. the pain usually wakes me around 1:30 in the morning, it really pisses me off that I can go to bed pain free and wake up ready to rip my own head off, the pain is in the eye the top of the head into the ear neck and shoulder area the whole time I'm hurting i'm trying to find a place to rub just to get relief I've even hit myself in the head before which to me seems to help some. Then I jump in the shower and turn the water as hot as I can stand it put it on massage and just let it beat the living hell out of my face and head on the left side.my left nostril gets so stuffed up that if I had to depend up on it alone to live I would surly die, because I Can't get any air through it. Thank God after awile the pain subsides and I'm able to go to bed and get some sleep before getting up at five am to start my day.
