Ti deo benedico is not correct,
although wrong, seems "I feel me God, and then I bless you"
The right phrase is:
Dio ti benedica! (God bless you) one person
Dio vi benedica! (God bless you) more than one
and "Be safe" has no exact translation in italian, we italian, when safe, are calm and in silence.....:-) then you have to use:
Stai tranquillo, amico mio
that means: Be quiet, my friend
(this rough inverse transation have no sense as the italian......
Be quiet! ....with an english you could upset him....:-)
