Just checked the drug database at onhealth.com and there is no kinship between the two. Luvox is from "a class of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor" and Vioxx is from "a class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories". The onhealth.com website was posted on the CHMB quite a while back and is one of the best I've seen. I always go there before starting any new med.
