Dave H - Your message indicated that you did not know the side-effects of Prednisone. I was not taking Prednisone for CH, but was taking it for a severe case of eczema that occured. I was taking Zomig and Daypro for migraines, and when I started taking the Prednisone, not only did my headaches worsen, but I probably added 5 pounds in excess water retention. The Prednisone made me so bloated, and maybe that problem worsened the headaches. After the six days, I discontinued it, with less headache and less swelling. The Prednisone made me feel really bad. I'm sure it is a lifesaver for some folks, but it will be o.k. with me if I never have to take it again. Good luck.
