(I was at Manchester airport recently, and found myself
standing next to a policeman with a gun - I didn't feel
more secure, I felt very worried, and I trust the
police.)
Guess it's partly what we're used to.
wrt to Joe, I think we're pretty free in this country,
and we don't need weapons to guarantee it.
