Its so simple it amazes me that people argue about it...here it is: Yes, the "perfect" world would have no weapons to kill since ALL people would abide by the law, or since ALL people would be morally good and not kill. Well, humans are not perfect and even our best intentions can be overridden by emotion, etc. etc. The unperfect human race will kill. Hence we need to protect ourselves from the lesser ones that will harm us. The law will not always protect us, hence we need other protection, and this unfornutely, at times, includes deadly force.
