My sympahty to all the "cluster" sufferers. I am age 48 and have had them for 27 years. My Dr. is most cooperative but he is not always available. Willie Garrett's story caused me to comment for I too have a military background, although mostly in Reserves. For the most part many military physicians DO NOT have adequate training to treat clusters. But then neither do general practicioners. There was one g.p. who told me there was no such thing as a "cluster" headache. Needless to say I wanted to punch him in the nose!!! Now, after all these years, Blue Cross/Blue shield a/k/a Acordia, has denied a claim for an injection at our local hospital when at 0200 I arrived at the emergency room after being awakened with a bad one. The emergency room doctor did not even come into the room for my wife to explain what was happening. At present I am protesting Acordia over their decision to deny. Any help out there????
Just sign me unlucky from Kentucky!
